The 2027 race is on Sunday, April 11.
The 10K starts at 9 a.m., the handbike marathon at 9:45 a.m., the marathon at 10 a.m., the relay at 10:30 a.m., the half marathon at 11:30 a.m.,
and the half marathon Nordic walking event at 12:20 p.m. The marathon goes off in two waves, with block D starting at 10:05 a.m.
The finish closes at 10:45 a.m. for the 10K and at 4 p.m. for all other events.
The minimum pace is listed as 8 minutes, 20 seconds per kilometer for the marathon, 9 minutes for the 10K, 8 minutes for the relay,
and 10 minutes for the half marathon.
In April, Hannover averages a high of 14.7°C and a low of 4.2°C.
Monthly rainfall averages 35.5 mm, the lowest of the year.
Pick up your bib at the Expo.
In 2027, pickup runs Friday, April 9, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.;
Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.;
and race day, Sunday, April 11, from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The back of the bib has space for an emergency contact and any preexisting medical conditions.
Gear check is on Friedrichswall, and changing areas are set up at the corner of Friedrichswall and Aegidientorplatz.
The massage area is in the courtyard of the Aegi Sparkasse building, near the finish refreshments and gear check.
Pacer groups cover marathon finish times from 3 to 5 hours and half marathon times from 1 hour, 30 minutes to 2 hours, 30 minutes, in 15-minute increments.
The Entry fee includes free public transit, course and finish refreshments, a finisher medal, and showers.
Marathon runners must be at least 18.
The Entry fee rises by entry tier: €99 to €115 for the marathon, €68 to €82 for the half marathon, and €29 to €45 for the 10K (2027 prices).
