THE DREAM
This full marathon marathon takes place in Aracaju, a beach city in Brazil’s Sergipe state.
It starts at the event plaza on Atalaia Beach.
A classic northeastern Brazilian marathon staged along the Atlantic seafront promenade.
Picture the course in advance

Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I finished the race in 4:44.”
It was hot despite the 4 a.m. start, and the runner enjoyed the varied scenery up to 30 km and the frequently provided cold water. They struggled badly on the shade-free beach sections later on, and were disappointed by the small distance markers and the queue for the finisher's items.

Cut-off
Full marathon 15km in 2 hours, 25km in 3 hours and 26 minutes.
The Aracaju Marathon is a full marathon in Aracaju, the capital of Sergipe state in northeastern Brazil.
Local race company SPEED Produções e Eventos grew it out of its half marathon, and the first edition in 2025 drew about 10,000 runners.
The second edition, in 2026, filled its 16,000 spots a month and a half early and joined Brasil Gigante, a circuit of 8 major Brazilian marathons.
Starting in 2026, the race is split over two days.
On Saturday, October 31, the half marathon starts at 4:30 a.m. and the 10K at 5 a.m.;
on Sunday,
November 1, the full marathon starts at 4 a.m. and the 5K at 5 a.m. Every race starts and finishes at the event plaza on Avenida Santos Dumont along Orla de Atalaia.
Organizers bill it as a flat, fast asphalt course.
Going by the cutoff locations in the 2026 rules,
the full marathon passes Rodovia Desembargador Antônio Xavier de Assis Júnior at 15K and Avenida Governador Paulo Barreto de Menezes at 25K.
At 32K it returns to Avenida Santos Dumont for the final 10K along the beachfront.
The time limit is 6 hours for the full marathon and 3 hours 30 minutes for the half marathon.
For the full marathon, the cutoffs are 2 hours at 15K, 3 hours 26 minutes at 25K, and 4 hours 24 minutes at 32K—miss one and you'll ride the sweep bus.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Kit collection details for the Aracaju Marathon are not publicly available.

For major beachfront events, the city transit authority (SMTT) sometimes runs temporary special bus routes,
but no dedicated shuttle was confirmed for this specific race
Aracaju has no metro.
Many beachfront-bound bus routes have converted to the rechargeable Mais Aracaju prepaid card, sold at CEAC and other downtown outlets.
From the airport or beachfront lodging, taxi or Uber is the most convenient option for reaching the venue.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
You can pick up your bib and race swag October 28–30 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on October 31 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The full marathon is on Sunday,
but the last chance to pick up is 8 p.m. Saturday—after that, you can't collect it.
Bring ID, your registration confirmation, and your payment receipt;
to pick up for someone else, you need a signed authorization and a copy of their ID.
Check your name, distance, and packet contents on the spot.
Organizers ask runners to arrive 1 hour 30 minutes before the start.
For the full marathon, that's 2:30 a.m., so book a taxi or Uber in advance or stay near Atalaia Beach and walk over.
Gear check is only at the start/finish area and closes at 11 a.m. Your bib must be worn on the front,
and the timing chip is a single-use chip attached to the bib, so there's nothing to return.
Headphones and other audio devices aren't allowed.
You'll find water at an aid station every 2 km.
November in Aracaju averages lows around 24°C and highs around 30°C, with high humidity, so even with a 4 a.m. start, it heats up fast once the sun rises.
Keep your pace conservative early and take water at every aid station.
Aracaju–Santa Maria Airport is about 4 km from Atalaia Beach, just over 10 minutes by car to the race site.
Hotels cluster along the beach near the venue, so getting around is easy.
Times are local to Aracaju. Check the latest official information before the race.
