THE DREAM
One of Venezuela's flagship races, running since 1987.
It's held alongside the commemoration of the founding of the city of Maracaibo.
It starts at Punta Iguana in Santa Rita, crosses the General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge over Lake Maracaibo, and finishes at Vereda del Lago Park.
Distances are 21K and 10K.

RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
We have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet. The map shows the host city.
Both the start and finish are located near the Tranvía station in Vereda del Lago Park.
After authorities prohibited access to the Rafael Urdaneta Lake Bridge, a former landmark of the course,
the course was changed to a loop through the city’s historic district without crossing the bridge.
The revised course includes clearly defined uphill and downhill sections.
Not yet confirmed in the official race guide
This may change for the next edition.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
no rail; Parque Vereda del Lago ('El Tranvía' station structure inside the park), Maracaibo, Zulia — central, walkable lakefront landmark

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
21K starts at 6:00 AM, 10K at 6:30 AM, from Punta Iguana finishing at Vereda del Lago on the shore of Lake Maracaibo.
The course closes at 9:00 AM (a roughly 3-hour cutoff for the 21K).
Tropical heat builds quickly after sunrise, so start well hydrated and aim to finish before the mid-morning sun intensifies.
Times are local to Maracaibo. Check the latest official information before the race.
