ABOUT THE RACE

A day you'll remember,
long past the finish line.

A charity race through central Perpignan, France.

Starting at Place de la Victoire, it finish in front of the Palais des Congrès,

with timed 10km and 5km races, a children’s race and a 5km walk also on the programme.

Held to coincide with France’s Alzheimer’s Day, Entry fee proceeds support local people living with Alzheimer’s and their carers.

The event is an urban course starting in central Perpignan at Place du Castillet and finishing at the Esplanade du Souvenir Français in front of the Palais des Congrès.

Alongside the timed 10 km and 5 km races, the event includes a junior race, children's races for ages 6–13, and a 5 km walking category open to everyone.

A festival-style village is set up at the finish.

Getting to the start

Gare de Perpignan (SNCF), about 1.5 km / ~20-min walk from Place de la Résistance; Sankéo urban buses also link the station to downtown

Start is at Place de la Résistance (opposite 'Le Médiator'), central Perpignan.

Both start and finish are within walkable central Perpignan.

Perpignan's local network is Sankeo, with tickets available via the M'Ticket smartphone app or by tapping a contactless bank card,

phone, or smartwatch directly on the bus reader.

Tickets can also be bought from the Sankeo app or tourist office;

the free Coeur de Ville shuttle runs every 20 minutes downtown.

No dedicated rechargeable IC card is required for occasional riders since contactless bank payment is accepted directly.
