Murayama Station on the JR Ou Main Line gained Suica IC card acceptance in spring 2024 as part of the Sendai-area network expansion, so a Suica or mobile Suica works for local rail travel here. There is no separate regional transit card; cash paper tickets remain a fine backup.
Coverage only extends to travel within the same Sendai-area IC zone, not connecting seamlessly to Tokyo-area Suica trips.
