There are two events: half marathon and 5km. The start is at 7am on Saturday.

The race is one round of Nashville's year-long RunNash Challenge Series.

It is grouped with the Music City July 4th 5K, Speedway 5000, 9 to 5K and Music City Turkey Trot;

complete three of them to receive the series finisher medal.

At the 2022 Nashville half marathon, Mark Fuentes held a comfortable pace despite cold, rainy weather, finishing in 1 hour, 40 minutes. He enjoyed the city scenery and shared running atmosphere, but slowed considerably on the final climb and noted the lack of aid station over the last 4 miles.

The Nashville Half Marathon & 5K is a fall road race organized by local running group Run Nash.

Both races start at the First Horizon Park ballpark and finish inside the stadium,

and in 2026 the race is on Saturday, October 24, with the half marathon starting at 7 a.m. and the 5K at 7:15 a.m.

The half marathon course runs along Russell Street and Davidson Street, then passes near the 2nd Avenue pedestrian bridge and along the Gulch Greenway.

From there it goes up and down Music Square East and 16th Avenue on Music Row,

the heart of the music industry, and returns to the ballpark via Demonbreun Street.

The course guide shows 9 water stops from mile 1.4 to mile 11.8, with water, sports drink and energy gels.

The 5K has one aid station at the halfway point.

The half marathon time limit is 4 hours, and it's 1 hour for the 5K.

Half marathon runners must pass mile 8.3 by 9:40 a.m.;

if you're later than that, you'll be diverted to skip part of the course.

Eight pace groups run from 1:30 to 4:00, and every finisher gets a medal and a commemorative T-shirt.

After the race there's a finish festival at the ballpark until noon.

Typical race-season temperature: around 15°C (59°F): Short sleeves or light long sleeves + arm warmers

Getting to the start

Music City Central (WeGo Public Transit hub) — about a 12-minute / 0.5-mile walk north along Rep. John Lewis Way to First Horizon Park

Start/finish is at First Horizon Park (home of the Nashville Sounds), downtown Nashville.

WeGo bus routes run along 2nd Avenue and Rep.

John Lewis Way;

Route 29 Jefferson stops at Rep.

John Lewis North & Harrison Street, close to the park.

No organizer shuttle found.

Getting to the finish

Same as start — on-field finish inside First Horizon Park, near Music City Central transit hub

Entry fee costs $120 for half marathon and $65 for 5K.

The listed prices include mandatory costs and fees.

There is also an option to receive bib through fundraising instead of Entry fee.

This involves fundraising for the American Cancer Society.

The minimum fundraising requirement is $750 for half marathon and $500 for 5K.

For 5K, the fundraising deadline is September 22, 2026.

Any amount remaining below the goal after the deadline will be charged to the card entered at registration.

These requirements apply to each individual registrant, not to the team as a whole.
