This half marathon race is held right in the heart of downtown Lviv.

The start/finish point is Prospekt Svobody 28, next to the Lviv National Opera House, within walking distance of Rynok Square and old-town accommodations.

However, this location is based on the 2026 race, and the official course and location for 2027 have not yet been announced.

Getting to the start

No metro in Lviv. Start/finish is on Prospekt Svobody (Freedom Avenue) beside the Lviv National Opera House, city center, walkable from Rynok Square/old town hotels

Reachable by Lviv's tram and trolleybus network along/near Prospekt Svobody. Per prior edition (2026, held 2-3 May): confirmed venue, with Prospekt Svobody and Chornovola Ave closed to traffic.

Over 40 city public-transit routes were rerouted/altered around the closed streets on race day in the 2026 edition — allow extra time and check Lviv city council transit notices closer to the date.

Tourist Information Centers at Rynok Square and Dvirtseva Square, and various kiosks around the city Works directly at the gates

Fare depends on payment method: about 13 UAH with a LeoCard, 15 UAH with a bank card/NFC tap, and 20 UAH if paying cash to the driver. The LeoCard itself costs 60 UAH, which includes a 23 UAH refundable deposit — only worth buying for longer stays.

Lviv has no metro, so access to the venue relies on trams and trolleybuses passing through the Prospekt Svobody area.

At the 2026 race, Prospekt Svobody and Chornovola Avenue were closed to vehicles and more than 40 city public transit routes were rerouted or changed,

so as the race approaches, it's safer to check Lviv City Council's traffic notices and allow extra travel time.
