The event is centered on Svätoplukovo Square in downtown Nitra and is held as part of 'European Mobility Week.' Starting in 2026, it has been designated a World Athletics Ranking Competition,

meaning finish times count toward world ranking calculations.

Course is a flat, fast urban course certified by AIMS and the Slovak Athletic Federation (SAZ).

Nitra train station (Železničná stanica Nitra) ~3 min walk; Nitra bus station ~4 min walk

Start/finish is at Svätoplukovo námestie in Nitra's historic pedestrian center. The square is only a few minutes' walk from both the train and bus stations.

Not needed — venue is within easy walking distance of the train and bus stations.

Transit card

Nitra's local bus network (MHD, operated by Transdev) accepts contactless bank cards tapped at the validator for a 60-minute ticket at the same price as a travel card fare, so visitors do not need to buy a dedicated card. Tickets can also be bought through the BUS Nitra mobile app, by SMS, or in cash from the driver.
