SchwabachTHE DREAM
This is Schwabach's downtown race, reaching a milestone edition in 2026.
It's run as an event where the whole family can take part together, regardless of age or ability.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I focus on running smoothly and try to keep my feet moving as lightly as possible.”
Thorsten tackled the early climb cautiously at the Schwabach City Run half marathon, then established his own pace in the second half. Holding his speed late on, he finished smiling in 1 hour 32 minutes 15 seconds, a new course best.

Ich konzentriere mich auf einen runden Lauf und versuche so leichtfüßig wie möglich zu bleiben.
Read the original on Laufend-Glücklich“I was able to maintain pace almost throughout, but it was literally only just maintained.”
The runner ran a hilly half marathon without having trained enough. From 17K onward, they battled tired legs on the descents, but finished in a better-than-expected 1:30:24.
