“I finished the RnR Marathon!!! Not the finish I hoped for, nor a PR, but I finished the race, with no serious injury.”

The runner finished the Rock 'n' Roll Manila Marathon with friends without major injury, despite missing the expected time. Other runners' salt supplements, massage and encouragement for a cramping companion were appreciated.

Luneta Park, Manila

According to the official course guide for 2026, the full race is three laps, the half marathon is two laps, and the 10km and 5km are one lap.

It starts from Roxas Boulevard KM0, passes towards Intramuros and Anda Circle and ends at Quirino Grandstand/Katigbak Parkway.

The official site lists World Athletics and AIMS course measurements.

According to the organizer's Kids Run information, there is a separate 1km, non-competitive event for ages 4–10.

The registration page shows PHP810 (total amount),

the schedule shows departure at 06:45, and the individual Kids Run page shows departure time at 07:00, so you need to double-check the departure time.

Stations & transport near the venue

Get a reloadable Beep Card for jeepneys and most rail lines — it's the universal fare card in Metro Manila. Contactless bank-card/phone tap now works at LRT-2 and MRT-3 too, but only on one pilot turnstile per station so far, so don't rely on it as your only option — carry a Beep Card as backup.

Getting to the start

LRT Line 1 UN Avenue Station

Official transportation page says Rizal Park is a 5–10 minute walk from UN Avenue station;

event start at Roxas Blvd KM0.

Getting to the finish

Finish is Katigbak Parkway; no official finish-to-transit instructions located.

More details

Airport NAIA to the event area takes approximately 30–60 minutes depending on traffic.

Public buses/jeepneys use Taft and Kalaw Avenues.

Race-week road closure and shuttle details were still pending.

Assembly and start times by event

According to the official 2026 schedule; the event is subject to change.

The full marathon starts at 00:01, half marathon at 02:00, the 10km at 05:00, and the 5km at 06:00.
Full marathon assembly is at 23:30 the night before; half marathon assembly is at 01:30, the 10km assembly is at 04:00, and the 5km assembly is at 05:30.
The cut-off for all events is 07:30.

Packet Pickup and baggage

You must pick up your bib, shirt, and gear bag at the expo in advance.

Kit pickup is at Robinsons Place Manila from November 24–27, 11:00–19:00.
There is no kit pickup on November 28 or on race day.
The official schedule lists gear bag drop at 21:00 on November 28, with bag pickup closing at 09:00 on race day.

Getting to and from the start and finish

Start line and finish are different, so check your route home.

The start is at Roxas Blvd KM0, and the finish is at Katigbak Parkway.
Transportation information says Rizal Park is a 5–10 minute walk from LRT Line 1 UN Avenue Station.
The official page says details of 2026 road closures and shuttles are still pending.

Kids Run Information

The start times differ between the separate Kids page and the 2026 schedule.

The official Kids Run page lists a 1 km, non-competitive race for children aged 4–10.
The registration page lists the price as PHP 810, all-in.
The official weekly schedule lists a 06:45 start, while the individual Kids page lists 07:00. Please reconfirm the current operating hours.
