The road to your own record

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
GrapevineTHE DREAM
The race is held on the North Shore Trail along the shore of Lake Grapevine near Dallas-Fort Worth.
The events are the 50K, 30K, and 15K.
Near the start, the dirt trail is smooth, but rockier, more technical sections appear farther along.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“Alas, when the aid station came in sight, they were packing up, and informed me that I had missed the cutoff by 5 minutes.”At Rockledge Rumble 50km, the runner started steadily but faded into a run-walk pattern. They missed the final aid station's time limit by 5 minutes and did not finish, yet valued the time on lakeside trails.
“Even the pain in my back and ankles had subsided.”At Rockledge Rumble 50km, the runner mostly walked rocky lakeside trails and steep hills. Late fuel restored their strength, allowing them to pass three runners and finish in 7 hours 21 minutes 48 seconds.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.

Trinity Metro TEXRail - Grapevine/Main Street Station, 815 S Main St (nearest fixed-route transit in Grapevine, ~3 miles from the venue)
All three distances (15K, 30K, 50K) start/finish at Jackson Pavilion, Rockledge Park, 3600 Pilot Point, Grapevine, TX. Not walkable from the TEXRail station; car or rideshare needed.
Rockledge Park is also the main trailhead for the Northshore Trail on Lake Grapevine.
Grapevine, TX is served by Trinity Metro's TEXRail commuter line, which connects DFW Airport Terminal B to Grapevine/Main Street Station and Fort Worth; single rides are about $2.50 (or $5 for an all-day Tarrant County pass), payable via the Trinity Metro GoPass mobile app or at station kiosks. However, the race venue itself (Rockledge Rumble) is likely a park/trail location best reached by car; use TEXRail if staying near the airport or downtown Grapevine, then drive or rideshare to the actual start.
