Start/finish is at Sportplatz Rorup (Birkenweg, 48249 Dülmen-Rorup), a rural village venue.
Rorup Kirchplatz stop is served by multiple regional bus lines (660, 663, 565, 682, LT T65) connecting back to Dülmen's train station.

The Roruper Abendlauf is a summer evening race held at Sportplatz Rorup in the Dülmen-Rorup area.
Based on the previous edition (the 38th edition, held in 2026), it started at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday.
The main event is the adults’ half marathon, with 10 km and 3 km course races,
plus a 1.5 km school run for ages 8–16 and a 400 m Bambini run for children aged four and under, making it a family-friendly event for all ages.
Course follows a mostly flat asphalt course, while finish features a stadium finish with one lap around the track in front of cheering spectators,
making it ideal for enjoying the festival atmosphere rather than chasing a fast time.
