“Markings were kind of confusing at the two loops where the 30k and 50k split off.”
David Tran faced rain, mud, strong wind and confusing course signs in the Run for Amma 30km. After checking a volunteer's phone map, he returned to cover a missed section and the full distance, finishing officially 2nd.

The San Francisco Bay Area uses the Clipper card for regional transit, but Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Los Gatos has no bus service reaching it. Car access is required for race day, with on-site parking at the preserve.
