Getting to the start

Government Complex Daejeon Station or City Hall Station on Daejeon Metro Line 1 (Dunsan-dong) — bus transfer required

Gathering/start venue: Daejeon Expo Civic Plaza. A bus transfer is required even from the nearest Daejeon Metro Line 1 station — based on web searches (blogs), not confirmed on the official RunTen website.

Same as the start venue (Expo Civic Plaza)

The 10 km course turns around near Yuseong Convention Wedding Hall along the Gapcheon River; the 5 km course turns around near Lotte Sujeong Town before returning — both events start and finish at Expo Civic Plaza.

Transit card

Daejeon has its own subway line plus city buses, both usable with the nationwide T-money card (also compatible with Daejeon's local 'hanbat' branded cards). T-money is sold/recharged at convenience stores and subway stations.

Foreign contactless bank cards generally aren't accepted directly at Korean transit gates, so get a T-money card; base fare is about 1,500 KRW.

The distance is short and not overly demanding, but avoid going out too hard at the start pace and a finish should be well within reach.
