THE DREAM
This is the 8th edition of the race, held on November 7, 2026, at Eddie D. Jones Park in Keithville, Louisiana.
It's often called the "Monkey Trail" because it's next to a national chimpanzee sanctuary,
and course loops around the sanctuary so runners can hear the primates the whole way.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
