The Armagnac Half Marathon takes place in Villeneuve-de-Marsan in the Landes, starting at 9:00am from Place de la Liberté.

Course is two-thirds road and one-third unpaved trails, passing through the distillery at Château de Ravignan,

then crossing vineyards and woodland on the Ognoas estate before reaching finish at the bullring.

Late September in Gascony is generally mild, although midday temperatures can rise, so be sure to stay on top of hydration.

Alongside half marathon, the event also includes a 10km race, a walking course, and children's races.
