Read the original on note“I’m SO glad I did, as I had a fantastic experience and am a proud owner of the Singapore Half Marathon Medal.”The runner hesitated about taking part because of the 4:30 a.m. start, humidity, and transport, but walked to the start and completed the 2023 Singapore half marathon.
“I was practically smiling from inside as I couldn’t have been prouder of myself for finishing the race despite the circumstances.”At the Singapore half marathon, the writer endured the crowded early stages and knee pain, finishing in 2 hours, 8 minutes, and 35 seconds.

The adidas half marathon is one of the events forming Singapore's national marathon weekend.
The 2026 event takes place from 4 to 6 December, and the half marathon is held on Saturday, 5 December.
The start line is fixed at the F1 Pit Building, and the finish is fixed at the National Stadium, making it easier to plan travel before and after the race.
The 21.0975km urban course follows Singapore's winding roads.
The event is held in conditions where heat and humidity test endurance, so it is important to manage your early pace steadily rather than focusing only on time.
Spectators and a lively atmosphere are expected near the finish, and the time limit is 3 hours 45 minutes.
Participants must be at least 16 years old based on their year of birth.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

Per-trip fares range roughly S$1.28-S$2.57 depending on distance. Use an EZ-Link or NETS FlashPay card, or simply tap a contactless Visa/Mastercard directly at MRT and bus gates - Singapore's transit system fully supports foreign contactless cards, so a local card is optional.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The start is at 4:30 am on 5 December, so prioritise sleep the night before and early-morning travel.
The start is at the F1 Pit Building and the finish is at the National Stadium, so calculate the travel time to the start first when choosing accommodation.

Heat and humidity in Singapore can affect endurance.
Prepare breathable clothing and set your pace conservatively for running in conditions hotter than usual.
