no rail transit in Taiping — Dataran Warisan Taiping is centrally located near Taiping Lake Gardens; given the 4:30am 21KM flag-off, taxi/self-drive/hotel pickup is realistic, not public transit

Start/finish both at Dataran Warisan Taiping, Jalan Taming Sari.

Flag-off: 21KM 4:30am, 10KM 6:30am, 5KM 7:00am.

Taiping half marathon starts at Dataran Warisan in Perak.

The 21km starts at 4:30 AM, the 10km at 6:30 AM, and the 5km at 7:00 AM.

In every race, runners are disqualified if they fail to pass start line within 20 minutes of the scheduled flag-off time.

Time limit is set at 4 hours 50 minutes for the 21km, 2 hours 50 minutes for the 10km,

and 2 hours for the 5km, giving beginner runners a realistic chance of finishing.

Finisher benefits vary by distance.

21km participants receive a timing chip, finisher T-shirt, and lucky draw entry,

while the 10km includes only lucky draw entry and does not include a finisher T-shirt.
