“I really gave it my all this year.”

At the Takikawa Cosmos Marathon, the runner caught others one by one in the second half and accelerated on the final straight. A finish of 1 hour 36 minutes 47 seconds secured 11th place in the 50s age group, three places higher than the previous year.

Half marathon·10km·1.5km course will be held together.

Both the start and finish are held at Takinokawa Park, and the start times are half marathon 9 a.m., 10 km at 9:10 a.m.,

and 1.5 km at 9:20 a.m. Course is a citizen marathon that runs along the Takikawa city highway and the banks of the Ishikari River.

Half marathon has a cut-off point limit of 19.1 km mark 2 hours 30 minutes.

The race office is located inside Gymnasium 1 at the Takikawa City Sports Center (3-2-1 Higashi-Ninosaka-machi, Takikawa, Hokkaido).
The bib-card distribution method and registration dates and times have not been published, so check with the race office.

Per web search (secondary source, not from official site): a free shuttle bus runs between the 栄通地下歩道停留所 (Sakaedori underpass stop, near JR Takikawa Station) and the race venue.

Stations & transport near the venue

Takikawa sits on JR Hokkaido's Hakodate Main Line between Sapporo and Asahikawa;

Kitaca IC card coverage extends along much of this corridor,

but Takikawa Station itself has been reported as outside reliable Kitaca tap-in/out coverage, so carry cash for a paper ticket there.

Kitaca can still be purchased and used freely within the Sapporo area if needed for other legs of the trip.
