Getting to the start

The Rapid (Grand Rapids) Route 1000 — seasonal weekend service from Central Station (250 Cesar E. Chavez Ave SW) to VanAndel Beach House inside Millennium Park

Historic/prior venue is Millennium Park, 1415 Maynard Ave SW, Walker, MI. Per the official RunSignUp page, the 2026 edition of this race has been CANCELED due to unforeseen circumstances, with a 2027 date/location to be announced in fall 2026 — the 2026-10-18 date in the source data does not correspond to an actual scheduled event.

Location/transit info given is based on the prior (2025) edition and may not carry over. Also note Route 1000 to Millennium Park is a weekend-only seasonal (summer) service and would not likely operate for an October race even if held.
