No public transit — Valparaiso's local V-Line bus system (4 routes plus an Orange Line to the Dune Park South Shore rail station) does not appear to serve this rural park outside the city core

March in Valparaiso — average temperature: 3°C, so cold weather is a factor.

To avoid getting chilled before the start, plan for a long indoor wait and bring gloves, a beanie, and a neck warmer.

Public transportation does not reach the venue.

A private car or rental car is the only practical way to get there.

Registration is handled through the Race Roster platform.

Ultras are decided by fueling and foot care, not speed.

Break in your shoes and socks thoroughly before race day, and if there are nighttime sections, bring spare batteries for your headlamp.
