Race reports: 2
DamarisRan in 2011 · Finish time 4:46:06
“I am very happy with my performance.”

Damaris faced heat, strong winds, an asthma attack, and shoe trouble at the 2011 Palm Beaches Marathon but managed the pace and kept going. They finished in 4 hours, 46 minutes, 6 seconds to set a personal best, pleased with their performance even while feeling they could have run faster.

Kara
“It's amazing what a little support from friends and the sight of the finish line can do!”

Worsening knee pain forced Cara to abandon their time goal and Boston qualifying target at the Palm Beaches Marathon, but they finished by alternating running and walking. Friends' cheers helped them accelerate at the end; though disappointed with the time, they found comfort in their weekend together and the beach.

We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
