“Starting in the dark is fun as I like to run in the mornings in the dark.”

At the Ultra Fest, the runner completed 100 miles on an out-and-back course from Easton. At night, the runner walked with someone whose light had failed to an aid station, then finished in 28 hours, 47 minutes, and 7 seconds, within the 30-hour goal.

We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
