This is a new course starting in Genoa, climbing the Eagle Ridge Trail, and continuing onto the Tahoe Rim Trail.

The 50km course starts in the historic small town of Genoa, Nevada, and climbs immediately from the start.

The start point is near Jacks Valley Road,

after which the course gains elevation along trails at the foot of the Sierra Nevada before connecting to the Eagle Ridge Trail and Tahoe Rim Trail sections.
