Start line is held at Varies, Rochester, NY, with a local start time of 7:30 a.m.

Course is a loop course that returns to the starting point.

Getting to the start

RTS (Rochester-Genesee RTA) — Greece On-Demand zone / Route 20-Lyell

Series venues include Greece Canal Park, Towpath Shelter, 241 Elmgrove Rd, Rochester, NY 14626 (Potato Run) and Spencerport Depot and Canal Museum, 16 East Ave, Spencerport, NY 14559. RTS operates an On-Demand microtransit zone, and fixed Route 20-Lyell runs to the Greece Ridge Mall Connection Hub, but no fixed stop was confirmed directly at either venue.

Rochester's Regional Transit Service (RTS) uses a tap card called RTS Go, sold and reloadable through the RTS Go app or at ticket outlets, with single rides at $3. Chip-enabled debit/credit cards and Apple Pay/Google Wallet are also accepted directly on RTS On Demand vehicles. This race series takes place across several Rochester parks, so a car is still the most practical way to reach the start lines.

This series consists of the 5K 'June Jaunt' held in June in Hilton, the 10K 'The Potato Run' held the Sunday before Labor Day in Greece,

and the 'Barbecue Bash Quarters' held on the first Sunday of November in Spencerport.

This race's date (November 1) corresponds to the series' final race, Barbecue Bash Quarters,

where participants can choose from several distances ranging from 6.55 miles up to a full marathon (26.2 miles).

All events are designed to accommodate wheelchair and mobility-aid users,

and each host location holds a fundraiser for a local food-sharing program along with an on-site food drive.

Both series-wide participation and individual race entry are available.
