This is the Liupanshui station of the WSE 10KM Open Series, held around Liupanshui Normal University.

It includes elite 10KM and 5K events, plus 5K and 3K family events pairing one adult with one child.

Known as “China’s Cool City,” Liupanshui is a highland city at 1,800 m where the cool weather is a major attraction even in midsummer.

Entry fee starts at 138 yuan.

Liupanshui has no metro/subway system;

nearest stops are 六盘水师院 and 六盘水师院, served by bus routes 9, 11, 27, 30, and 凉都11.

Liupanshui is a smaller Guizhou city with no metro system;

local buses mostly run on cash or Alipay/WeChat Pay QR codes rather than a dedicated tourist transit card.

A China-linked mobile wallet or taxi/ride-hailing app is the most practical way to get around.

Liupanshui Normal University, the race venue, is accessible by city bus, with stops at the university’s Minghu Gate and Chaoyang Gate.

There is no subway.

Alipay and WeChat QR payments are standard on buses, and foreign visitors can link an overseas card through Alipay’s tourist version.

As this is a highland city, bring a light outer layer for the temperature difference between morning and evening.
