Start/finish at Longview Lake, 11101 Raytown Road, Kansas City, MO — a suburban county park;
KC's regional bus network (RideKC) does not appear to serve this park directly, so a car is effectively required.

Kansas City, MO is notable for having a completely free KC Streetcar (no fare at all) running along Main Street through downtown.
RideKC bus service has also been fare-free for several years but fares are set to return starting June 1, 2026, at which point buses will accept direct contactless tap-to-pay with Visa/Mastercard/Discover cards or the RideKCGO mobile app,
with no separate dedicated transit card needed.

This is a weekend race, with the 5K·10K held on Saturday and half marathon·full marathon held consecutively on Sunday,
around Longview Lake Park near Kansas City.
Course combines trails and roads, mainly around the west side of the lake, and includes sections along the Little Blue River;
full marathon completes two laps of this course.
Time limit has different cut-offs by event.
The 5K must be completed between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, the 10K between 8:00 and 10:30 AM,
half marathon between 7:30 and 11:55 AM (approximately 4 hours 25 minutes), and full marathon between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM (approximately 6 hours 30 minutes).
Entry fee costs $84 for full marathon, $76 for half marathon, $50 for the 10K,
and $40 for the 5K, while bib can be collected on-site from 1 hour before the race start.
