Starting on He滨 Road in Hongta District, it has a total capacity of 20,000 runners selected by lottery.

Known as the “city of tobacco,” Yuxi is using running to reshape its image, making this one of Yunnan’s leading autumn races.

The 2026 Yuxi Marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. on Hebin Road in Hongta District, Yuxi, Yunnan Province, at an elevation of about 1,630m.

The events are divided into full marathon and half marathon, with a combined field cap of 20,000 runners —

5,000 for the full marathon and 15,000 for the half marathon.

Field size: 20,000 in total (full marathon 5,000 · half marathon 15,000)
Grade: CAA Grade A

Yuxi is a mid-size Yunnan city with local bus service, no metro. Registration opened Jul 13 2026, lottery results Aug 27 2026 — recheck closer to race date.

Registration was conducted via advance sign-up and payment from July 13 to August 21, and since applications exceeded the field cap,
