It offers full marathon 42.195㎞, half marathon, and 10㎞ events, and is a large-scale running event that attracts more than 100,000 participants every year.

Manasisam ran the AU Jaipur Marathon as their first full marathon in 4 years. They slowed on the climb in the second loop but finished in 4:25:32.

Amrit PandaRan in 2023

“3 min PR to finally get under 1:40, huge thanks to coach Woolley.”

Amrit Panda ran conservatively with a pacer at the 2023 AU Jaipur half marathon and enjoyed the course, finishing in under 1:40 and cutting his personal best by 3 minutes. He advises not letting your pace speed up on the early downhill sections.

“The race was well organized with volunteers at the few turns on the course, and plenty of water, electrolytes and oranges along the course.”

DK ran the 2017 AU Jaipur Marathon as both a trip and a long-distance training session. DK experienced a two-lap course that started at 4:00 am and passed along wide roads and tourist attractions, and noted the sufficient water stations and well-organized volunteers positively. DK finished in about 4 hours 15 minutes, including time spent stopping to take photographs.

Full marathon, half marathon, and the 10㎞ course start at Albert Hall South Gate on JLN Marg in Jaipur.

The urban course links Albert Hall Museum, Kesar Garh, Dolls Museum, Trimurti Circle, Ravindra Manch,

Birla Mandir, the University of Rajasthan, Kuli Smriti Van, MNIT, World Trade Park, and Jawahar Circle.

Full marathon is 42.195㎞ and half marathon is 21.097㎞.

Several other events, including the 10㎞ and 5㎞, are held at the same time, turning the entire city into the race venue.

The Jaipur Marathon began in 2010, and the 2027 event will be its 18th edition.

The event was started by World Trade Park and Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha;

more than 25 world records have been set over 17 years, and course is described as one of the world's fastest course.

Getting to the start

Albert Hall, South Gate, JLN Marg, Jaipur — nearest metro is Chandpole station on Jaipur Metro Pink Line, ~2.16km/~22min walk

All race categories (5K/6K/10K/21K/42K) start at Albert Hall South Gate. Start times are very early (full marathon 3:00 AM, half marathon 5:00 AM, shorter distances from 6:50 AM), so the metro will not yet be running for the earliest waves — plan taxi, auto-rickshaw or private transport before dawn.

Course is a loop (two loops for the full marathon) via Birla Mandir, Gandhi Circle, Malviya Nagar Flyover, World Trade Park, Jawahar Circle, Tonk Road flyover, JLN Marg and Trimurti Circle, finishing back at Albert Hall.

Alternative: Jaipur Metro One-Day / Three-Day Tour Card One-day: ₹150 (₹100 fare + ₹50 refundable deposit); Three-day: ₹250 (₹200 fare + ₹50 refundable deposit) — Worth it if you're taking more than 4-5 metro rides in a day near tourist areas like Badi Chaupar. Jaipur Metro currently covers only one main line through the Pink City, so many runners will mostly use auto-rickshaws/Uber/Ola instead.

Smart Card users get roughly a 10% fare discount versus single QR tickets. No evidence found of foreign bank cards being tappable directly at faregates.

As the race is on Sunday, 14 February, choose clothing suited to the local conditions before the start.

Full marathon participants should decide for themselves what supplies to use during the race,

while course has aid station, medical staff, and ambulances available.

The official race T-shirt included with registration is provided for full marathon, half marathon, and the 10㎞ event.

You select the size during registration, but it may depend on stock available at the venue.

The start is at Albert Hall South Gate, so it is practical to choose accommodation with priority access to JLN Marg.

Bib cannot be collected on race day and must be collected in person at the AU Jaipur Marathon Health & Lifestyle Expo held on 12–13 February 2027.

Bring your registration confirmation and a valid government-issued photo ID.

At the venue, you will receive bib and an electronic timing chip.

Full marathon and half marathon participants must be at least 18 years old on race day, while 10㎞ participants must be at least 16 years old.
