The start and finish are at Salt Fork Lodge, and course takes place entirely within Salt Fork State Park.
The 50km, 20-mile and 10-mile events are held on Saturday, with another 10-mile race on the following day.

Course consists of a single 10.4-mile loop.
The route follows hiking and equestrian trails with gentle climbs and descents, entirely within Salt Fork State Park.
The course is marked with pink blazes and permanent wooden signs.
The organisers note that this course is known for destroying trail shoes.
The events are defined by the number of loops.
The 50K covers three laps and has more than 4,000 feet of total elevation gain.
The 20-mile race covers two laps, and the 10-mile race covers one.

official site states the lodge is 'right at the start/finish line.' Course is a 10.4-mile loop on hiking/bridle trails within the park.

Kimbolton is a rural community in eastern Ohio near Salt Fork State Park, with no public transit system or transit card.
A car is the only practical way to reach the venue.

The 2026 race takes place on Saturday, December 5.
The 50K and 20-mile races start at 8:30am, while the 10-mile race starts at 8:45am the same day.
All three distances close at 5:00pm;
time limit is 8 hours 30 minutes for the 50K and 20-mile races, and 8 hours 15 minutes for the 10-mile race.
A second 10-mile race takes place the following day, Sunday, December 6.
It starts at 9:00am and closes at 2:00pm, giving time limit a 5-hour limit.
If runners participate on both Saturday and Sunday, the Sunday 10-mile Entry fee is half price.
Entry fee is $90 for the 50K, $75 for the 20-mile race, and $60 for the 10-mile race.
Hikers may also enter the 20-mile and 10-mile distances.
Lodging is available at Salt Fork Lodge, the start and finish venue.
The race discount does not apply to online reservations;
to receive it, call the reservation line (740-435-9000) and identify yourself as a Western Reserve Racing Bigfoot race participant.
Lodge rooms for race weekend require a two-night minimum, with a deposit due at booking and a full refund available until 72 hours before arrival.
Awards are presented to the top three overall men and women in each distance,
as well as the top three men and women in five-year age groups from 19 and under through 70 and over.
Race-day information for the 2026 edition has not yet been released.
