Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“The course itself was beautiful with great views of the lake.”The runner completed their first full marathon at Coeur d’Alene Marathon in 4 hours 6 minutes 20 seconds, tackling steeper hills than expected. They enjoyed the lake views but added brief walks as fatigue hit in the final 10km.
“Everyone settled into their pace about 1/2 mile into the race.”The runner didn't overdo it early on and maintained a steady pace. The runner managed the stiffness in their thighs by adjusting their stride length and cadence, and completed the half marathon in 1 hour 38 minutes 44 seconds to place fourth in their age group.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.

The CDA Marathon is a road race that runs on both lake scenery and city streets in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, USA.
The official introduction presents the road overlooking Lake Coeur d'Alene and the downtown area of the resort town as the center of course.
A section overlooking natural scenery from a distance and a section passing through city streets are connected within one event.
Like the name CDA, which is an abbreviation of the local name, the city itself becomes the stage for the competition.
Full marathon, half marathon, 10km, and 5km are operated, and Kids Run is also prepared separately.
The structure includes everything from long-distance record competition to short-distance participation in one competition.
Full marathon is course, a distance certified by the United States Track and Field Association, and the certification number is shown on the official map.
The organizers inform you that with this record of course, you can qualify to participate in the Boston Marathon.
Not only does it have the purpose of seeing lakes and streams, but it also has the purpose of running on public streets.
The official charity partner is the Centennial Trail Foundation of Northern Idaho.
This non-profit organization supports maintenance and improvements to the Centennial Trail and also helps develop new trails in Kootenay County.
The competition serves to connect participants with organizations that manage local roads.
One of the northwest running events run by negative split, it showcases the city's lakeside scenery and the local walking and running environment.
The fact that adult sports and children's programs are held around the competition venue also creates room for families to participate in the city's events.
