More details

Getting to the start

No public transit; 50K/32K/17K start/finish at Downtown Superior, 165 Main Street, Superior, AZ 85173. 12K starts/finishes at the Superior Public Pool, 234 S. Golf Course Road, Superior, AZ 85173.

Start times: 50K 7:00 AM, 32K 7:30 AM, 17K 8:00 AM, 12K 8:30 AM. Downtown races use street parking and a Town Hall dirt lot; 12K has overflow parking at Superior High School across from the pool.

Getting to the finish

Same as start — Main Street, Downtown Superior (50K/32K/17K); Superior Public Pool (12K)

50K runners finish on Main Street after circumnavigating Picketpost Mountain via the Arizona Trail.

Transit card

Copper Corridor race is based in Superior, AZ, a small former mining town outside metro Phoenix with no local transit card system. Valley Metro's Copper Card works within the Phoenix urban core but does not serve Superior, so a rental car is the practical option.

The Copper Corridor Trail Run is organized by Aravaipa Running, which operates numerous trail races in Arizona, with online registration through UltraSignup.

Registration is generally listed as closing at midnight on the Monday before race week,

so it is best to enter well in advance if you are planning to participate.

The start and finish are in downtown Superior, a former mining town.

The 32K course heads west through Arnett Canyon, continues for roughly 2 miles along the Arizona Trail to the Picketpost Trailhead, and then returns.

The 50K adds a southern section along the Arizona Trail that circumnavigates Picketpost Mountain before returning to Superior's Main Street to finish.

Course includes many sections crossing flowing creeks, large boulder terrain,

and stands of sycamore trees, and the race is often described as one of Arizona's hidden trail gems.

Times are local to Superior. Check the latest official information before the race.
