Fort WorthTHE DREAM
This is a good race for chasing a Boston Marathon qualifying time.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“It was a great little race and frankly I felt I ran it way too conservatively.”The author targeted a Boston-qualifying time at the 2019 Fort Worth Marathon, finished in 3 hours 9 minutes 35 seconds, and reflects on their race strategy.
“I picked up the pace as best as I could and finished in 3:31.”The runner ran the small course, which consisted of two laps along the sidewalk beside the Trinity River. The runner ran out of fuel at the aid station and had to walk during the second half, but sped up at the end and finished in 3 hours 31 minutes, about 90 seconds faster than the previous time.
“The temperature got into the 80's and I had to scrounge for water to make it in.”The runner ran with a hamstring injury and finished in 7 hours 9 minutes 25 seconds. The runner wrote that most aid stations had been withdrawn after 10 miles and that water had to be found in the heat. The runner had a difficult time running along the sidewalk beside the Trinity River, but continued the record of never abandoning a race and received the official time and medal at the finish line.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.

Farrington Field, 1501 N University Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76107
Same venue as start.
No organizer shuttle confirmed. Nearest TEXRail commuter rail station is T&P Station in downtown Fort Worth, a few miles away, requiring a bus/bike-share connection to reach the venue.
Fort Worth's Trinity Metro runs on the GoPass mobile app, which lets riders buy tickets up to 60 days ahead and board by scanning a barcode at the farebox; the app also supports a digital wallet with stored cards or Apple Pay. Note that GoPass Tap reloadable cards were temporarily suspended in 2026 due to a security issue, so the app or cash fare (paid directly onboard, or via kiosks at Fort Worth Central Station) are the more reliable options for visitors right now.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
On November 8, the marathon, half marathon and 20-mile race start at Farrington Field.
Marathon walkers can use the 6 a.m. early start, but regular marathon runners start at 7:30 a.m. During the early start,
not all course services and aid station may be fully operational.

and on November 7 at Luke's Locker Clearfork in Fort Worth from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Out-of-town participants and race-day registrants can collect at Farrington Field on November 8 from 6 to 7 a.m.,
so arrive early.
If you register by October 14 you will receive a personalized bib, and after October 15 shirt size choices may be limited.
There may be sleeveless, long-sleeve and short-sleeve options, so it is best to register early to get the clothing you want.
Times are local to Fort Worth. Check the latest official information before the race.
