THE DREAM
This is the 12th edition of the Golden Driller Marathon, held on April 17, 2027.
You can choose a distance to match your level, from the 5k up to the full marathon.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“Being out of the wind never felt so good!”The runner battled a headwind at the Golden Driller half marathon and set a personal best of 1 hour 21 minutes 8 seconds.
“All in all, I would definitely do this again.”At the Golden Driller Marathon, heat and fading late energy challenged the runner. Encouragement from a companion over the final stretch helped them finish in 3 hours 59 minutes 22 seconds.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
Preview the course and read what runners who went before you wrote.

Tulsa Riverparks Trail along the Arkansas River
The Golden Driller Marathon is a road race along the Arkansas River in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Course uses the paved trails in the city’s River Parks system.
Because the course follows park paths along the river, you experience waterfront scenery unlike races that repeatedly cross major city roads and intersections.
The organisers describe the event as small and welcoming,
appealing to participants who want to run a long distance at a relatively intimate event rather than in the crowded start of a major city marathon.
The name comes from the Golden Driller statue at Tulsa’s Expo Square.
The statue is also featured on the finisher finisher medal, preserving a local symbol as a race keepsake.
This does not mean that course passes directly by the statue;
the actual course primarily follows the paved riverside trails.
You encounter the city’s symbol in the event name and finisher medal, while the run itself offers open views of the Arkansas River and the parkland.
Full marathon, half marathon and shorter events are held together.
All course are USATF-certified, and full marathon can be used as a Boston Marathon qualifying time.
The terrain is generally described as flat, but full marathon includes hills, while the other event is described as a flat course.
Even participants gathered along the same river encounter different terrain depending on the distance they enter.
Food and drinks are available after the finish, giving you time to stay with local runners after the riverside run.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

21st St & Jackson Ave (Tulsa Transit Route 202)
Same festival park venue;
course follows the paved Riverparks trail system along the Arkansas River.
No dedicated race shuttle found; on-site parking available at the venue.
Tulsa's MetroLink bus system uses reloadable RFID fare cards, sold at QuikTrip stores and other outlets, with fare capping for frequent riders.
Marathon runners staying downtown can use MetroLink to reach the start area, though many will find driving or rideshare more convenient.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
If you are driving, set River West Festival Park’s start-and-finish parking area as your destination.
If the event parking lot is full, move to one of the temporary car parks shown on the official map and walk to the venue.
Parking on the park’s grass is not permitted, so include the walk from the parking area to start line in your arrival schedule.
The official information says the venue is relatively close to hotels in downtown Tulsa, so compare the route to the park when choosing accommodation downtown.
Pre-race Packet Pickup is available at Marshall Brewing Tap Room and Fleet Feet KingsPointe.
You may use an officially designated collection location even if it differs from the one selected during registration,
but Fleet Feet Broken Arrow does not issue bib.
Procedures for pre-race collection are based on the official information from the previous edition, so compare them once with the new bib information.
Same-day collection takes place near start line.
T-shirt size changes are possible only while stock lasts, so if you want to exchange yours on site,
ask whether your preferred size remains available after the race.
Times are local to Tulsa. Check the latest official information before the race.
