The half marathon is the middle-distance event in the Hong Kong 100 series.
Like The Third, it starts at Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung and follows the coastline around the peninsula before returning to Pak Tam Chung, covering 53km course.
With around 2,200m of elevation gain, it includes more demanding mountain sections than The Third.
Because it follows a substantial portion of the 100km main race course,
it is regarded as a distance that combines Hong Kong 100’s characteristic mountain terrain with spectacular coastal scenery.
Participants who complete The Third, The half marathon, and the 100km main race all earn the “Grand Slam” title.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
Based on the previous edition, race packs were distributed during race week on Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00–21:00 and Friday from 11:00–19:00.
Race-day collection at the start area was also available.
You will receive a drop bag for the checkpoints at collection.
Check the official website for the 2027 schedule.
