RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
The 2026 Huizhou Marathon is a China Athletics Association (CAA) A-level certified race organized by the Huizhou Municipal People’s Government of Guangdong Province,
featuring full marathon and half marathon.
Based on the most recent edition (2025), course shows that half marathon started at Huizhou Gymnasium on Yunshan West Road,
followed major city roads including Shimin Leyuan East Road, Huizhou Avenue,
and Dongjiang 3rd Road, turned around near Echeng Bridge, then passed through the old city via Huizhou Bridge,
Zhongshan South Road, and Zhongshan East Road before finishing finish at Huizhou Olympic Stadium.
The route is notable for linking historic downtown landmarks including West Lake, Hejiang Tower, Shuidong Street, and Dongpo Shrine.
However, because individual sections have been adjusted slightly from one edition to the next,
the official 2026 course will be released separately closer to race day.

云山站 (Yunshan Station, Guanghui intercity/city rail)
Start/finish (marathon and half marathon) at 惠州体育馆 (Huizhou Stadium) on Yunshan West Road, Jiangbei Subdistrict, Huicheng District, Huizhou. Yunshan Station, an underground stop on the Guanghui intercity railway, is the nearest rail station, located on the same road as the stadium.

Same as start location.
Per the most recent (2025-12-28) edition: organizers ran 15 free shuttle bus lines from 7 city districts directly to the start at Huizhou Stadium, from 5:30-6:30 AM race day. Bib numbers also grant free rides on all regular city buses in Huizhou on race day.

The organizers promote Huizhou as a well-connected transport hub close to Guangzhou.
Following the opening of the northern extension of the Guangzhou–Huizhou intercity railway,
runners can reach Guangzhou Baiyun Airport from Huizhou North Station by intercity train in as little as 1 hour 55 minutes,
making access relatively convenient for visiting participants.
However, as of the time of writing, while the 2026 race is still at the announcement stage, detailed information on registration method and dates,
field limits, cut-off point time limit, and other race operations has not been officially announced.
Updates are expected to be released progressively through registration platforms and official channels as race day approaches.
Times are local to Huizhou. Check the latest official information before the race.
