The 2026 Jinan (Quancheng) Marathon is certified by the Chinese Athletics Association and will be held as a Category A race.

The field is capped at 25,000 runners (full marathon 12,000;

half marathon 13,000).

The entire race will be broadcast live on Shandong Satellite TV and online platforms.

It is also part of China Mobile Global Connect's 'Chasing Every Marathon' 2026–2027 season.

The start and finish have been confirmed at the former Aoti Center on Long'ao North Road.

Half marathon starts on Long'ao North Road, heads north along Aoti West Road, then enters Jingshi Road.

After an out-and-back section on Jingshi Road, runners return via Aoti West Road and Long'ao North Road to the start in a loop.

The full marathon follows an extended route that also includes Yuhuangshan Tunnel, Kexin Road and Chunhui Road.

Grade: CAA Grade A
Typical race-season temperature: around 14°C (57°F): Short sleeves or light long sleeves + arm warmers

Getting to the start

济南奥体中心 (Jinan Olympic Sports Center), reachable via Metro Line 3 and Line 4, 奥体中心站 (Aoti Zhongxin Station)

Loop-style course starting and finishing at 龙奥北路 by the Olympic Sports Center; race date confirmed as 2026-10-25. Police will impose traffic control on multiple main roads on race day; Metro Lines 3 and 4 both serve Aoti Zhongxin Station directly at the start/finish.

Getting to the finish

济南奥体中心 (龙奥北路) — same location as start (out-and-back/loop course).

Route loops out via 奥体西路→经十路→玉皇山隧道→科新路→春晖路 and back to the Olympic Sports Center.

The start/finish, Jinan's Aoti (Olympic Sports) Center, connects directly to Aoti Zhongxin Station, served by both Subway Lines 3 and 4.

No dedicated race shuttle is operated;

organizers direct participants to use the subway, and traffic control is put in place on several arterial roads on race day.

The race capacity is 25,000 (12,000 for full marathon and 13,000 for half marathon), and it is held to Chinese Athletics Association Class A standards.
