The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
Held near Khao Yai National Park in Thailand.
AIMS lists the event as taking place on January 9-10, 2027.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I'm grateful to myself for sticking it out and never giving up.”
The runner took on the Khao Yai Marathon's 10km race in the 13°C cold. Overcoming the desire to stay somewhere warm, the runner finished with a new personal record and felt proud of the effort.

Start/finish is at the Khao Yai Activity Grounds, 2090 Mu Si, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima —
a rural area near a Khao Yai National Park entrance, roughly 2.5-3 hours' drive from Bangkok.
No realistic public-transit route to the venue.
Same Khao Yai Activity Grounds location as start
Same as start — no public transit option.
Pak Chong (nearest town, ~30min away) has a train station on the Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima line, but no confirmed connecting transport to the venue was found.
Foreign runners should plan on renting a car, hiring a private driver/taxi from Bangkok or Pak Chong,
or booking a nearby resort that may offer its own transport.
Songthaew rides within the city typically cost about 10-20 baht, paid in cash directly to the driver;
routes aren't always clearly marked, so confirm the destination before boarding.
Grab works reliably in Korat and is the easiest option if unfamiliar with local routes.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The event runs across two days: Saturday features the race expo and a 2km Family Fun Run,
while Sunday hosts the main races (42.195km, 21.1km, 10km, and 5km) in the Khao Yai Activity Area near Pak Chong district.
The course runs through Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage forest, with mountain scenery and morning mist along the route.
Early January is considered the coolest, most comfortable time of year in the area, which favors race-day conditions.
Field size is capped at about 9,000 runners, and a charity bib option (2,500 baht) is available for those who want part of their entry fee to support a cause.
Times are local to Nakhon Ratchasima. Check the latest official information before the race.
