Stations & transport near the venue

Buy a reloadable Navigo Easy card (€2) at any metro/RER ticket window or tabac and load it with t+ tickets or a Paris Visite pass — as of 2026 you generally can't just tap a foreign bank card at metro gates, though open contactless payment is being rolled out gradually across buses.

Getting to the start

Métro Ranelagh (Line 9) or RER C Boulainvilliers — both a short walk from Avenue Raphaël / Jardins du Ranelagh

Start is on Avenue Raphaël, at the edge of the Jardins du Ranelagh, Paris 16th arrondissement.

Fully within central Paris with excellent Métro/RER coverage on both ends of the course;

no shuttle required.

Getting to the finish

Métro Trocadéro (Lines 6 & 9) or Métro Muette (Line 9) — close to Porte de Passy

Finish is at Porte de Passy, near the Trocadéro esplanade facing the Eiffel Tower.

More details

None needed — dense central Paris transit coverage.

Navigo Easy

RATP/Ile-de-France Mobilites ticket counters and vending machines at metro and RER stations, and RATP partner shops (tabacs, newsstands, some corner stores)

Not accepted at the gates — get the local card above

Alternative: Paris Visite pass €30.60 for 1 day, €45.40 for 2 days, €63.80 for 3 days, €78 for 5 days (zones 1-5, includes both airports) —

Only worth it if you need unlimited travel across all zones (e.g. both airports, Versailles, Disneyland) in a short trip;

for typical inner-city sightseeing, loading individual t+ tickets or a cheaper multi-day pass onto Navigo Easy usually costs less.

More details

Direct 'tap and go' with a contactless bank card is not available network-wide on the Paris metro.

Buses are already partially equipped, with full Paris and inner-suburb bus coverage targeted by the end of August 2026.

The published rollout schedule is: Orly-Line 14 airport link 30 June 2026, Montmartre funicular July 2026, Metro Line 1 July 2027, Lines 4/14/15/18 end of 2027, Lines 7/12 end of 2028, and the full network by 2030.

Journeys paid by bank card cost more than standard fares (a 50-80 cent surcharge) and do not include free transfers -- each validation is charged separately.

A Navigo Easy card can't be shared between travelers -- one per person.

You can also skip the physical card entirely and buy/store tickets in the Ile-de-France Mobilites or Bonjour RATP phone app.

Stations & transport near the venue

This race is in central Paris near the Eiffel Tower,

served by the metro using the Navigo Easy card (EUR 2, reloadable) or the Navigo Liberte+ pass loaded via smartphone.

Direct contactless bank card payment is only active at a few pilot locations as of 2026 and not yet at Trocadero,

so buying a Navigo Easy card at any metro station is the simplest option.

A single ride costs about EUR 2.50.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

The official-measured course starts on Avenue Raphaël near the Jardin du Ranelagh, passes Place du Trocadéro,

continues along Avenue Georges-Mandel and Avenue Henri-Martin, and enters the Bois de Boulogne to loop around the lake.

Bib can be picked up at Stade Suchet (25 Boulevard du Maréchal Franchet d'Espèrey, 16th arrondissement, Paris) on Friday,

September 4 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, September 5 from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Race-day conditions are forecast to be mild, with a high of 19°C and a low of 10°C, and average expected rainfall around 45mm.

Times are local to Paris. Check the latest official information before the race.
