READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

The race follows the Last Person Standing format.

All participants start simultaneously, complete a set loop, and rest for the remaining time before the next round begins.

This event reportedly uses a variant format with a 5km loop distance and a time limit of 45 minutes —

a heavier pace than the standard backyard ultra (4.167 miles/60 minutes) — meaning runners are said to need to maintain roughly a 14:20-per-mile pace to finish.

The moment a runner fails to complete a round in time, they are eliminated, and the race ends when only one person remains, who is declared the winner.

Men's and women's champions are determined separately.

The venue is the 125-acre Another Round Lula property bordering the North Oconee River,

featuring gentle hills, woods, and three ponds, with race headquarters set up in a converted barn.

Restrooms, a café, and indoor/outdoor bars are available inside headquarters so participants can warm up during downtime.

Separate milestone awards are given each time a runner passes the 50K, 50M, 100K, and 100M marks, and the entire race is livestreamed on Summit TV.
