A high-altitude half marathon held in Guling Town, the mountaintop settlement on Mount Lushan.
Starting at Yueliangdao Park, the route makes a full circuit past the cable-car entrance, Xianrendong and Lulin Bridge, among other sights.
From start to finish, the event takes place at over 1,000m above sea level—an unusual mountaintop circuit course even in China.

RACE WEEK
Know the course and time limit, and race day comes into focus.
From the 2026 editionWe have not confirmed the start line coordinates yet.
The half marathon course starts at Yueliangdao (Moon Island) Park in the center of Guling Street,
then passes Guling Street, the Lushan cable car entrance, the Huajing (Jinxiu Valley) entrance,
the Xianrendong entrance, the Datianchi entrance, the Shimenjian entrance,
the power station dam, Laonanmen, and Lianhuatai Reservoir before turning back at Nanshan Road.
It then continues via Hankou (toward Wulaofeng and the botanical garden), Lulin Bridge,
and the Museum, Conference Site, and Meilu entrance, before returning in a loop course to Yueliangdao.
The first 1km is on a stone road, and after passing through the bustling Guling Street there is a continuous 5km descent.
After the power station dam, a winding climb of about 1.7km and roughly 140m in elevation through dense forest follows.

So on race morning, you can just run.
An A-grade half marathon hosted by the Jiangxi Provincial Sports Bureau and the Jiujiang Municipal People's Government.
Bib pickup details have not yet been announced; it is typically handled by presenting personal ID and booking a time slot.
Lushan Guling Town Street Heart Park/Moon Island (庐山牯岭镇街心公园/月亮广场)

From Jiujiang: go to Lushan North Gate Transfer Center, buy mountain entry + sightseeing bus ticket, ride shuttle up (~40-50min) to Guling Town; cable car upper station is ~1km from the Heart Park start/finish.

Mountain access shuttle bus required from North/South Gate Transfer Center to Guling Town — general tourist transit, not race-specific. No private cars allowed up the mountain during peak periods.

The race venue is in Guling Town on Mount Lushan.
To approach from Jiujiang, buy the admission ticket and sightseeing-bus ticket together at the Lushan North Gate transfer center,
then take a shuttle 40–50 minutes uphill.
From the upper cable-car station to Street Heart Park (街心公园), the start and finish area, it is about 1 km.
The sightseeing buses up the mountain are regular public tourist transport, not race-specific services,
and private cars are not permitted to enter the mountain area during peak season.
Entry fee starts at 150 yuan.
