In 2026, full marathon Entry fee cost USD 60, half marathon cost USD 45 and the 10K cost USD 30.

Online registration was open from 1 January to 20 July or until places filled.

Participants in full marathon had to be at least 18 years old, and the time limit was 6 hours 30 minutes from the start.

The race kit, containing bib, an official T-shirt, an electronic chip and a bag,

had to be collected at the Expo beside Terminal Portuario de Manta on 31 July and 1 August, between 10:00–18:00.

Race-day kit pickup was not available.

Online entry was the only option in 2026, and entries could close before 20 July if the field filled up.

  • 42K runners had to be at least 18 years old on race day.
  • Your entry was confirmed once you had paid and received a confirmation email. The 2026 notice stated that pre-registration alone did not guarantee a place.
  • In 2026, the Entry fee fees were USD 60 for the 42K, USD 45 for the 21K and USD 30 for the 10K. Fees for the next edition have not been announced.

Collect your race kit at the expo

The bib and timing chip were distributed only at the 2026 Expo.

  • The Expo was open from 10:00–18:00 on 31 July and 1 August at Terminal Portuario de Manta.
  • You needed photo ID and your entry confirmation. If you could not collect your kit in person, an authorization letter and copies of the runner’s and authorized person’s IDs were required.

Start time and time limit

The 42K starts at 5:00 am, and the cut-off was 6 hours 30 minutes from the start time limit.

  • The official course started at Plaza Cívica and finished back at the same square.
  • The 42K was described as two laps of the 21K loop.

Course Service

The 2026 regulations specified toilets at the start and every 10km, an ambulance and medical support within course, and medical centres in the start and finish areas.

  • You must pass through all designated course and checkpoints. Leaving course may result in disqualification.
  • A sweep vehicle was assigned to the full and half marathon sections to transport runners who fell behind to the finish.
