Marathon & Trail du Pays des Châteaux takes place on 3–4 April 2027, with full marathon on Sunday 4 April.

The marathon is offered as a solo 42.195km race or a four-person relay, alongside a 10km race and half marathon.

The 2027 full marathon will be a two-lap course passing Château de Cheverny and Château de Troussay.

Registration is through ProTiming, and full marathon Entry fee costs €68.

The organizer has announced that the 2027 course will be redesigned as a two-lap course,

with the start and course passage point in front of Château de Cheverny.

Current practical information lists Packet Pickup pickup at Jeu de Paume in Blois on Friday and Saturday,

additional pickup on Sunday at the square by Cheverny church, baggage drop in the finish village, 15 local-food aid stations, and no disposable cups.

Free shuttles between Cour-Cheverny and the finish village, as well as designated free parking, are also listed.

However, the 2027 regulations file linked by the organizer could not be opened during this check,

so the start time and final detailed course map have not been confirmed.

Getting to the start

Organizer lists free parking in event car parks P0, P2, P6 and P7; P4 is for Trail-bus departure. Free shuttle between Gamm Vert parking at Cour-Cheverny and the finish village runs Saturday 12:00–18:00 and Sunday 07:00–15:00. No road-race shuttle from Blois was verified.

Do not park in the château visitor car park.

Registration and bib

  • Registration for ProTiming’s 2027 full marathon Entry fee costs €68 and is open while places remain.
  • You must submit your 2027 PPS or FFA document by 1 March 2027. On-site payment or submitting documents at Packet Pickup is not allowed.
  • Bib pickup for bib is at Jeu de Paume in Blois on 2 April 14:00–19:00 and 3 April 10:00–19:00. Bibs for the full and half marathon can also be collected from 06:00 on race day at the church square in Cheverny.

Course and aid stations

  • The organizer has announced that the 2027 full marathon will switch to a two-lap course. As no detailed map is available, the previous course map is not presented as current information.
  • The marathon has 15 aid stations serving local food, spaced approximately 2.5km apart. Disposable cups are not provided, so bring your own cup or flask.
  • The exact 2027 start time and final race regulations have not been confirmed.

Travel and baggage

  • Follow the signs to free event parking at P0, P2, P6 and P7. P4 is for the Trail bus. The organizer advises against parking in the Château de Cheverny visitor car park.
  • A free shuttle runs between Gamm Vert parking in Cour-Cheverny and the finish village in Cheverny on Saturday 12:00–18:00 and Sunday 07:00–15:00.
  • The baggage drop is at the entrance to the finish village and is open Saturday 12:00–18:00 and Sunday 07:00–16:00.
