THE DREAM
A 10km race held in Paris on May 23, 2027.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“The race village was enjoyable, and its location was truly remarkable!”
CoolRire ran the 2024 adidas 10K Paris, starting under the Arc de Triomphe and passing the Louvre and the Opéra on the way. They picked up their bib on Friday and said the race village and its location were great. The climbs in the second half, thin crowd support in a few stretches, and pedestrian traffic took some shine off it, but they loved getting to run through parts of Paris that are normally hard to access.

Le village était sympa et la localisation incroyable !
Read the original on CoolRire“The Adidas 10K Paris is a fantastic race where you can expect an iconic course and masses of collective energy and crowd support.”John Derrick finished the 2024 Adidas 10K Paris in 1:07. The city course past the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre, plus the big crowd support in the final kilometer, stood out most. He noted the course is mostly flat but has a steep climb around the 8K mark, and called the race well organized — worth registering early for, given how many people turn out.
“My time was 1 hour and 5 minutes.”
The author personally ran the adidas 10K Paris, finished in 1 hour 5 minutes, and looked back on the event atmosphere.

Billed as the biggest 10K in Paris, the race reportedly drew a record field of more than 44,000 for its eighth edition in 2026.
The course starts at Trocadéro, facing the Eiffel Tower, runs down along the Seine,
then passes the Grand Palais, Place de la Concorde, and the Tuileries Garden before a gentle climb.
Near the Louvre, it turns toward the Opéra Garnier, passing the Madeleine, Boulevard Haussmann, and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré,
then drops back to the lower Champs-Élysées before the final climb to Place de l'Étoile (the Arc de Triomphe) and the finish on Avenue Foch.
Because the course takes in Paris's signature landmarks in a single loop, it's considered one of the city's most iconic races,
and with women making up 48 percent of the field, it's billed as having a nearly even gender split.
The share of runners raising money for charity also reportedly hit a record high.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

Buy a reloadable Navigo Easy card (€2) at any metro/RER ticket window or tabac and load it with t+ tickets or a Paris Visite pass — as of 2026 you generally can't just tap a foreign bank card at metro gates, though open contactless payment is being rolled out gradually across buses.
Métro Trocadéro (lines 6 and 9)
Start is at Trocadéro, facing the Eiffel Tower — the Trocadéro metro station is directly at the start area.
Métro Charles de Gaulle–Étoile (lines 1, 2, 6, and RER A)
Course finishes climbing the Champs-Élysées past the Arc de Triomphe onto Avenue Foch;
Charles de Gaulle–Étoile station sits at the Arc de Triomphe/finish area.
No organizer shuttle bus (not needed — central Paris, dense metro coverage).
RATP runs a special spectator-oriented '#Ligne10Km' linking 14 metro stations along the race route.
Navigo Easy
RATP/Ile-de-France Mobilites ticket counters and vending machines at metro and RER stations, and RATP partner shops (tabacs, newsstands, some corner stores)
Not accepted at the gates — get the local card above
Alternative: Paris Visite pass €30.60 for 1 day, €45.40 for 2 days, €63.80 for 3 days, €78 for 5 days (zones 1-5, includes both airports) —
Only worth it if you need unlimited travel across all zones (e.g. both airports, Versailles, Disneyland) in a short trip;
for typical inner-city sightseeing, loading individual t+ tickets or a cheaper multi-day pass onto Navigo Easy usually costs less.
Direct 'tap and go' with a contactless bank card is not available network-wide on the Paris metro.
Buses are already partially equipped, with full Paris and inner-suburb bus coverage targeted by the end of August 2026.
The published rollout schedule is: Orly-Line 14 airport link 30 June 2026, Montmartre funicular July 2026, Metro Line 1 July 2027, Lines 4/14/15/18 end of 2027, Lines 7/12 end of 2028, and the full network by 2030.
Journeys paid by bank card cost more than standard fares (a 50-80 cent surcharge) and do not include free transfers -- each validation is charged separately.
A Navigo Easy card can't be shared between travelers -- one per person.
You can also skip the physical card entirely and buy/store tickets in the Ile-de-France Mobilites or Bonjour RATP phone app.

Standard bibs reportedly sell out shortly after going on sale each year.
After standard bibs are gone, an “associative bib” may sometimes become available for €27, provided the runner raises at least €150 for a partner charity.
This can be an alternative for runners who miss regular registration.
The start is organized in waves by target time—40 minutes, 43 minutes, 47 minutes, 51 minutes, 54 minutes, 57 minutes, 1 hour,
and 1 hour 5 minutes—with a pacer at the front of each wave.
Based on the previous year, bib pickup took place at an Adidas store during a time slot announced by email the week before the race.
Times are local to Paris. Check the latest official information before the race.
