The Millbrook Marathon is organized by the Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club (EDRRC), and 2027 will be its seventh edition.

The start is at the Town of Washington Park and Pool on Route 44.

The race starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. rain or shine, with a 6-hour cutoff.

The course follows quiet rural roads in Dutchess County and is a USATF-certified Boston Marathon qualifying course.

It has approximately 730 m (2,400 ft) of cumulative elevation gain,

with a substantial portion concentrated between miles 15 and 23, making the late climbs physically demanding.

Six aid stations are located at approximately miles 4, 8, 12.8, 15.1, 18.3, and 23.8, serving water, electrolyte drinks, fruit, and snacks.

Registration is through RunSignUp and closes when capacity is reached.

Entry fees have varied;

in recent seasons they have risen to nearly $70.
