THE DREAM
This half marathon makes two circuits of the streets of Shuifu, a small city at the northernmost tip of Yunnan where the Yangtze first enters the province.
It is a long-running event that received China Athletics Association Gold Medal status for four consecutive years.
The field includes 3,000 half marathon runners, with Fun Run and Kids Run bringing the total to 12,000 — an impressive scale for a small city.
