The events are the 6 Hour Challenge and Outlast ULTRA - 12 Hour Challenge.

No train/subway/bus service to the venue.

Venue is in Higden, AR, near Greers Ferry Lake — a rural lake-area location with no public transit; no specific street address was published, only the town name. Access is by car only.

OUTLAST is a timed-loop event (one 5K trail loop every hour for 6 or 12 hours), so start and finish are the same point.

Outlast is one race in the 'Outlast Circuit' series that Texas Outlaw Running stages in multiple cities across the country, and it is held in Higden, Arkansas.

The format is simple but punishing: runners must complete one approximately 5km loop every hour on the hour,

any remaining time within the hour is rest, and if you miss the cutoff, you are out.

Competitors choose either the 6-hour (6 rounds) or 12-hour (12 rounds) division, and results are ranked by how many rounds they can survive.

The finisher rewards are also said to vary by round count —

complete 4 rounds and you get a bronze patch, complete 5 rounds and you get a silver patch,

and complete all 6 rounds and you receive a wooden 'Outlast' finisher medal.

Registration is handled through the platforms Texas Outlaw Running uses, such as RunSignUp or UltraSignUp,

and because the exact Entry fee and on-site details are updated every year on the race website, it is safest to check directly before entering.
