The road to your own record
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.

The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
Run along unpaved, natural trails.
There are rocky sections and elevation changes, with steep climbs and descents near the river and waterfalls.
The 5K is relatively easy, with some paved sections, while the 10K is more challenging, with greater elevation changes and technical sections.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.

Final finish at 19:00 for all events, no new loops allowed after 17:00
The race offers 50K, 25K, 10K, and 5K distances.
The start is at 6:00 a.m. local time in Fort Worth, TX.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
4/3 05:00~08:30 · Departure/Arrival Pavilion #2
No confirmed direct route to the venue. Marion Sansom Park (2501 Roberts Cut Off Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76114) sits within Fort Worth city limits, so Trinity Metro operates in the general area, but no specific route/stop was confirmed reaching the park entrance itself.
Start/finish is at the Start/Finish Pavilion #2 in the park; course runs multiple loops through rocky, hilly terrain near the river and a waterfall. Unlike most races in this batch, this venue is inside a major metro area (Fort Worth), but the specific park is in a semi-remote river-canyon section not directly served by transit.
Same as start — loop course finishes at the pavilion.
Packet pickup also offered the day before at Trailhead Running Supply in Flower Mound, TX (a separate suburb, not near the venue).
Fort Worth's Trinity Metro system uses the GoPass app and GoPass Tap contactless card, but riders can also tap a regular contactless debit/credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay directly at the farebox on buses like the Orange Line — no need to buy a dedicated card. One-way fare is about $2, day pass $4. The ultra course itself is likely outside the transit network, so plan on driving to the race site.

Panther City Ultra is a loop-style trail race held at Marion Sansom Park, located close to downtown Fort Worth.
It offers four distances: 50K, 25K, 10K, and 5K, with each division completing the same trail loop a different number of times.
Based on the previous year, the 50K starts at 6:00 a.m. and does 5 laps, the 25K starts at 7:00 a.m. and does 3 laps,
the 10K starts at 7:30 a.m. and does 2 laps, and the 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. and does 1 lap.
Because the starts are staggered, runners from different events often cross paths on course.
The field is reportedly capped at about 300 runners, so it is safest to register before the race reaches capacity.
Registration and race details are available on UltraSignup and on the organizer's website, Rise Racing Co.
Times are local to Fort Worth. Check the latest official information before the race.
