More details

Getting to the start

None — RTC Transit (Las Vegas public bus system) does not reach Red Rock Canyon on SR-159; nearest RTC service is in Summerlin, roughly 20 miles away, then car/rideshare needed

100K and 50K start in front of the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center on the Scenic Loop Drive off SR-159; check-in begins 6:00am, start 7:00am. The 17K starts separately at Blue Diamond Park (no shuttle provided for this distance) Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area / Blue Diamond has no public transit service — RTC buses do not extend this far out SR-159 — car or rideshare is required for all runners, crew, and spectators

Getting to the finish

Town of Blue Diamond, NV — no scheduled public transit; nearest is Las Vegas via car/rideshare (~20 mi)

Both the 100K and 50K finish in the town of Blue Diamond after the course's Hurl climb and Landmine section

Start shuttle

Organizer provides remote parking with a shuttle for 50K/100K runners on race morning, but explicitly does not shuttle spectators or remote-parking vehicles to the start; full details are in the official "2026 Participant Instructions" PDF (not fully accessible via search)

Transit card

Las Vegas proper is served by RTC Transit, which uses reloadable Tap & GO cards (regular fare $4/ride, reduced $2) plus the Deuce on the Strip ($6 for a 2-hour pass, $8 for 24 hours). However, RTC routes do not reach Red Rock Canyon or Blue Diamond directly, so runners still need a rental car or rideshare to get to the actual venue.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

Red Rock Canyon 100K has a strict participant limit because it takes place on BLM-managed public land near Las Vegas, Nevada.

In line with the BLM's guidelines for managing group sizes, only the first 200 applicants are confirmed,

while all subsequent applicants are placed on the waitlist and confirmed in order only if cancellations occur or the field size is increased.

Entry fee costs approximately $235 for the 100K, $195 for the 50K, and $95 for the 17K (fees not included), and bib is distributed the day before the race,

Friday, at CraftHaus Downtown from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Race-day check-in begins at 6:00 a.m., with the start at exactly 7:00 a.m.

Time limit is also broken down into detailed distance-specific cutoffs.

For the 100K, the cutoff at the Blue Diamond aid station at mile 27.5 is 6:30 p.m., and the 62.5-mile finish cutoff is 5:15 a.m. the following day.

For the 50K, the Mud Springs aid station at mile 25.75 has a 6:00 p.m. cutoff, and the finish cutoff is 7:30 p.m. The shortest race,

the 17K, is a course with no aid station, so no separate time limit is specified.

Times are local to Blue Diamond. Check the latest official information before the race.
