Race reports: 1
SC
“The last mile was exhausting but was worth it.”

At the Regal Beagle Ultra 50-kilometer, the runner completed six laps of a 5-mile course, chatting with friends and maintaining a steady pace. Realizing in the final 1 mile that a personal best was possible, they accelerated and improved their time after a demanding push.

Stations & transport near the venue

Akron's METRO RTA uses the EZfare mobile app for bus fares (about $1.25 one-way, with 1-day and 7-day passes available on board or at the downtown Transit Center);

no dedicated physical smart card is required since EZfare handles ticketing.

The Regal Beagle Ultra, however, runs through a metro park outside the regular bus network, so a car is the realistic way to reach the start.
